Do you come to me?
Yes. Nothyma is a mobile loctician and braider. We travel to your home across Leicester and Leicestershire with everything needed for your appointment.
How do I book?
Send a request through the website or message us on WhatsApp. We confirm your slot, agree a time, and take a small deposit to secure it.
How does the deposit work?
A small deposit holds your appointment and comes off the total on the day. It keeps slots fair and cuts down on no-shows.
How long will my appointment take?
It depends on the style. A retwist is around 1.5 to 2 hours, braids are usually 3 to 5 hours, and starting microlocs can take most of a day. Each service on the menu shows a rough time.
How should I prepare my hair?
Come with clean, detangled hair unless you have booked a wash with us. When we confirm your booking we will let you know anything specific for your style.
What areas do you cover?
Rothley, Leicester, Loughborough, Syston, Birstall and the surrounding towns. If you are a little further out, just ask and we will let you know.
Do you do children's and men's hair?
Yes. Locs, braids and plaits for all ages, and plenty of styles for men too.
I'm not sure what style suits me. Can you help?
Absolutely. Book a consultation and we will talk through your hair and the look you want, with no obligation to book anything.
Can I bring my own hair or extensions?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own. If you would rather, we can advise on what to buy and how much you will need.
How do I pay?
The deposit is paid when you book. The balance is settled on the day. Nothyma will confirm the payment options when your booking is agreed.
